Professor of Hepatology and Gastroenterology, consultant of ultrasonography and liver transplantation, director of intensive care unit, Endemic Medicine department, and director of Cairo University Center for Hepatic Fibrosis (CUC-HF), Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
Dr. Zayed graduated from Cairo University School of Medicine in 1994, obtained master of Tropical Medicine in 1999 and doctorate degree of Tropical Medicine in 2003 from Cairo University.
In 2017, she has obtained International Master degree in Donation and Transplantation of Organs, Tissues, and Cells from University of Barcelona, Spain.
Dr. Naglaa Zayed is involved in both clinical practice and research. She has participated in few clinical trials in the field of hepatology and has several peer-reviewed publications in international and local journals in addition to peer -reviewer in several regional and international journals.
Her fields of interest are chronic viral and non-viral liver disease, hepatic fibrosis, management of critically ill hepatic patients, HCC and living donor liver transplantation.
